About the Role
Darryl Wakefield State Farm Agency is looking for a motivated, competitive, and relationship-driven Account
Manager to join our growing sales team.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business and growing relationships with
new and existing customers through proactive outreach, needs-based conversations, quoting, cross-selling,
follow-up, referrals, and closing sales.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, comfortable with outbound activity, accountable to
production goals, and motivated by professional growth and performance-based compensation.

Key Responsibilities
 Generate new business through proactive prospecting and outbound sales activity
 Develop relationships with new and existing customers
 Conduct needs-based conversations to identify insurance opportunities
 Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Health, and other available insurance products
 Cross-sell and package multiple products to provide customers with comprehensive protection
 Follow up consistently with prospects, leads, referrals, and existing customers
 Ask for referrals and identify additional sales opportunities
 Maintain a strong sales pipeline and effectively manage follow-up opportunities
 Meet established daily activity and monthly production expectations
 Clearly explain coverage options, benefits, and costs
 Maintain accurate prospect, customer, quote, and follow-up information in agency systems
 Participate in ongoing sales, product, and professional-development training
 Stay current on applicable insurance products and requirements
 Conduct business professionally and in accordance with applicable insurance requirements

Qualifications
 Florida Property & Casualty insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain
 Florida Life & Health insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain
 Previous sales experience preferred; insurance sales experience is a plus
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating sales conversations
 Competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by measurable results
 Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
 Strong closing and follow-up skills
 Ability to build relationships and earn customer trust
 Highly organized with strong time-management skills
 Comfortable using agency software, CRM systems, and technology
 Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be coached and developed

Compensation
$50,000-$60,000+ Total Compensation Opportunity
Competitive compensation package consisting of base salary plus commissions and performance-based
bonuses.

Total compensation will vary based on experience, licensing, individual production, and performance. High
performers have the opportunity to earn beyond the stated compensation range.
